The Ernest E. Kennedy Center is looking for an applicant who is self-initiating, comfortable with public speaking and possesses sound networking and interpersonal skills.
Position: Community Action for a Safer Tomorrow (CAST) County Coordinator Duties Include: Plan, organize, and coordinate substance abuse prevention activities and programs with groups and other agencies under the guidelines of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). This position requires strong interpersonal, written and oral communication.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a human service field; or bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience. Previous experience working with coalitions or community mobilization efforts preferred. Certified prevention professionals preferred; or applicant must be able to complete the certification process within 36 months of becoming in-process for prevention certification.
Salary Range: $30,000 to $45,000 to commensurate with previous education and experience.
Must be able to work flexible hours and varying days to include evening hours.
