Who We Are

The Ernest E. Kennedy Center, a private, not-for-profit agency, provides comprehensive behavioral health services to promote citizens’ health and quality of life in surrounding communities.

The Ernest E. Kennedy Center was initially established as the Berkeley County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse in 1972. In 1993, the center was re-named Ernest E. Kennedy Center. The goal of the agency is to provide behavioral health counseling to all individuals in need of services without regard to race, religion, disability, national origin, or gender.
